Your company is validated. The bottleneck is on the factory floor now.
Colabtec Speed is operational acceleration for companies that already sell: BOM audit and target cost per part, factory selection and negotiation in Zhuhai and Shenzhen, inspection with a written report before shipment, and follow-through to the production run. Our own team in 1,000 m² in Zhuhai, with labs and an SMT line.
- since 2006
- connecting Brazil and China
- 1,000 m²
- of Colabtec infrastructure in Zhuhai
- SMT
- in-house electronics production line

Speed is for you if…
Startups with a validated MVP
You've proven the product works and customers are using it. The challenge now is volume, stable quality, and a cost per unit that adds up.
Companies with a product and revenue
You're already selling, but the factory, quality, or the supplier has become the ceiling on growth.
Anyone buying from China blind
You negotiate by email and catalogue, get a good sample and an uneven batch, and have nobody to walk into the plant on production day.
Anyone ready to go global
Your company is ready to sell beyond its home market and needs suppliers, certification, and logistics to make the move.
Growth stalls on concrete things: the part costs too much, the sample is good and the batch isn't, the supplier swaps a component without telling you. Sorting that out eleven time zones away, over email, costs months.
- ✕Demand grows and production doesn't keep up.
- ✕Sample approved, batch rejected: the rework hits your cash and the delay hits your customer.
- ✕Picking a supplier from a catalogue or a portal is a bet — nobody on your side has seen the shop floor.
- ✕Certification, contracts with a Chinese factory, and shipping logistics turn into a maze.
- ✕You don't know what your part actually costs, only what you're charged for it.
Colabtec Speed exists to solve this
Step by step, no mystery
- 01
You apply
Tell us where the company stands and what the bottleneck is. Every application is read individually — and if the case belongs at an earlier stage, we say so and point you to Colabtec Seed.
- 02
Speed Diagnosis
You send the BOM, drawings, and photos of the part, then spend 90 minutes with Nelson Kameda and an engineer from the Zhuhai team. Within 15 business days the dossier lands: target cost part by part, the three bottlenecks holding back scale, and a verdict on manufacturability.
- 03
Acceleration plan
A shortlist of up to 5 factories visited in person by the Zhuhai team, an RFQ translated into Chinese, quotes normalised into one comparable table, and landed cost. Goals, order of execution, and schedule in writing.
- 04
Execution in China
Negotiation, samples, pilot run, and production followed by our team, using the labs and the SMT line in Zhuhai.
- 05
Scale and follow-through
Inspection with a photo report before every shipment, a call every two weeks, and the numbers that matter — unit cost, scrap, lead time — on the dashboard, month by month.
What you get with Speed
A real diagnosis
A dossier within 15 business days: audited BOM, target cost part by part, and a manufacturability verdict signed by people who have run a factory in China since 2006. When the answer is «don't build it», that comes in writing too.
The factory, seen from inside
A shortlist of up to 5 factories our own team visited: photos of the shop floor, capacity, MOQ, certifications, and FOB quotes. Not a list pulled off a portal.
Quality before it ships
Inspection with a photo report and lab testing before the container leaves, plus support through the certification process — Anatel, INMETRO, CE, or FCC, depending on the product.
Logistics and distribution
Support with shipping, customs clearance, and international distribution, including through Colabtec Shop when it makes sense.
Your design protected
An NNN contract in Chinese, under Chinese law and Chinese jurisdiction, signed with every supplier before the RFQ goes out. A Brazilian NDA doesn't hold a factory in Guangdong.
Brazil–China network
Nearly 20 years of operation: engineers, factories, freight forwarders, and business owners on both sides, plus strategic mentorship from people who have got this route wrong and right.
Speed beyond the pitch
Real people, real infrastructure — the way it actually happens in China.

Prices are stated in Brazilian reais (R$). Every company is assessed individually and the models can be combined — the right format comes out of the diagnosis, not a price sheet. Speed is an obligation of means: we answer for our work, not for a factory's price, a third party's lead time, or the outcome of a certification. Any equity stake is negotiated in a separate instrument, signed later and outside the service agreement. Colabtec does not intermediate securities, does not structure offerings, and does not charge a percentage of third-party capital.

FAQ
Still have questions?
What's the difference between Colabtec Seed and Speed?
Seed is incubation, Speed is acceleration. Seed is for projects that still need to be born or become a prototype. Speed is for companies already selling a product and stuck at the factory: cost per part, batch quality, suppliers, scale.
Do I need revenue to apply?
Not necessarily, but you do need validation: an MVP with real users or an operation already generating revenue. If the product is still on paper, the right path is Colabtec Seed — and we'll tell you that straight away.
How much does it cost, and how does the commercial model work?
The Speed Diagnosis has a fixed price: R$ 1,900 (about US$ 350), with the dossier delivered within 15 business days and credited in full if you sign the Acceleration Plan within 60 days. Plan and execution are quoted by proposal: a fixed project fee, a monthly fee, or a monthly fee plus success fee. The success fee applies only to proven savings in unit cost, measured against a baseline signed before any intervention and with audit rights over purchase invoices. Any equity stake, where it makes sense, belongs to a separate instrument signed later and outside the service agreement. Colabtec does not intermediate securities.
Does Colabtec really have infrastructure in China?
Yes. Nelson Kameda has been operating in China since 2006, and Zhuhai Kameda Technology, his factory in Zhuhai, has labs, an SMT line, and a real track record of projects for Brazilian companies. Colabtec also has about 1,000 m² of infrastructure in Zhuhai, 40 minutes from Macau and two hours from Shenzhen.
Do I need to travel to China during the program?
It's not required: the Zhuhai team handles suppliers, production, and quality day to day. If it fits your plan, the Zhuhai facility hosts you and your team for technical visits and batch follow-up. Worth stating plainly: a technical visit is one thing, paid activity in China is another — that requires its own visa, and Speed is not a placement program.
How does the process start?
You apply through the form, we review your company's profile, and we invite you to a conversation. If there's a fit, the first paid step is the Speed Diagnosis — and the plan proposal and commercial model come out of that dossier. We don't do courtesy calls: whoever pays shows up with the BOM in hand, and so do we.
